Health looks good this year. All the long-term plans are either making harmonious aspects to you or leaving you alone. On October 11 of Jupiter will start to make a stressful aspect, but this is negligible – not enough to cause problems. Good planetary support pre-existing conditions should be much improved.

Your 6th house of health is very strong this year (and will get even stronger by the end of the year). Health is important and you’re paying attention here. In fact, perhaps you’re paying too much attention here, more than is needed. There’s no need to panic over every little discomfort – which is the tendency with a strong 6th house. Many of these things are caused by the daily and monthly shifts of the planets. When they pass the discomfort passes.

Good though your health is, you can make it even better. Give more attention to the following areas – the vulnerable areas of your chart.


• The heart. This is always important for a Leo. Most spiritual healers affirm that worry and anxiety (lack of faith) is the root cause of heart problems. So avoid this. Relax into life and develop more faith. Relaxation exercises are very helpful too.
• The spine, knees, teeth, bones, skin and overall skeletal alignment. These are also always important for Leo. Saturn, the ruler of these areas, is your health planet. So, regular back and knee massage should be a part of your normal health regime.
• Regular visits to a chiropractor or osteopath would be good. Vertebrae and skeletal bones need to be in the right alignment. Therapies such as Rolfing, Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique are good (Alexander Technique is particularly good to prevent problems occurring). People often inadvertently throw the spine or skeleton out because of poor habits. The body needs to be restrained into a correct posture. Regular dental check-ups are important, and you should support the knees when exercising.
• The liver and thighs. Liver action seems sluggish of late and an herbal liver cleanse might be a good idea if you feel under the weather. Regular thigh massage will not only strengthen the thighs and liver, but the lower back as well. When Saturn moves into Capricorn at the end of the year, these areas will become less vulnerable.
• The colon, bladder and sexual organs. These have been important areas since 2008 when Pluto entered your 6th house of health, and will remain so for many years to come. Many natural doctors claim that all disease begins in the colon. So keeping it cleans is important. Herbal cleanses or herbal colonics would therefore be a good idea. Safe sex and sexual moderation are also important. Listen to your body. It will tell you when enough is enough.
Pluto in your house of health also gives other messages. It tends towards surgery, as we have mentioned. But it also shows that you respond well to detox regimes. Good health is not so much about adding new things to the body but about getting rid of things that don’t belong there.
